My Ancestress Catherine or Caty (Rose)(Bourn)Dassance or Dawson or Dawsance lived in Clinton, Rock County, WI in 1870 and died there 21 Jul 1878. She is buried in the Clinton Cemetery in the Conley family plot.

Her Daughter Caroline (Bourn) Conley, wife of John Conley, died 7 Apr 1899 and is buried in the same plot as her mother Catherine. Caroline was b. at Wallingford, Rutland Co., VT, 17 Jan 1832, the dau. of Amos and Caty (Catherine) Rose Bourn. Caty or Catherine Rose married her first husband, Amos Bourn, Jr., in 1803 in Rutland Co., VT. Amos died in 1852 and Caty married her 2nd husband, Abner Dassance (pronounced Dawsance), who died in 1865/6. Caty then went to live in Clinton, WI, with her youngest daughter Caroline Conley.

I have cemetery records for both mother and daughter, but I would really like to get copies of their death records as well as their wills, if any. I have had no success finding such records on line, and the order sent to Wisconsin Vital Records more than a month ago, along with my $20 check has yet to elicit a response.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
