Mrs. Helen Fellows
The funeral of Mrs. Helen Fellows, who died at 7:00 p.m., Satruday, was held from the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Fellows, North Second St., at 3:00 p.m., Monday, Rev. O. W. Smith of the Congregational Church officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Helen Fessingdon Fellows was born April 9, 1850, int he town of Porter and was the last of eleven children of Horace and Saloma Fessingdon. On Sept. 7, 1868 she was married to Henry Fellows. Her only son, Almond passed away six years ago. Her husband in 1910. So one by one she saw her near loved ones slip away, until at the end of her earthly life there remained three grandchildren: Kenneth, Ronald and Elizabeth Fellows. One can understand why her heart clung to her grandchildren. She suffered a serious accident many moons ago, and since that time has been a helpless sufferer. Death came to liberate and free.
