I do not have photos of Frank or Mary, but some of Chet and Freda. How is your father related to Frank and what is his name?

My mom tells the story of Frank chasing her and her siblings with his cane and they would hide under the bed. Sounds like he was a grumpy old man and the kids found pleasure in teasing him. Freda cooked his meals daily and would take them out back to the small guess house Chet built for Frank. My mom said Frank wasn't quite right in his mind (whatever that means)and Freda didn't trust him in the house with her three daughters; therefore, that's why he lived in a separate house on the property. My mom has Alzheimers and so did her mother, Freda. I'm wondering if Frank had it too but no one understood the symptoms of the disease in those days.
