I too have family from the confluence of the Flambeau and Chippewa Rivers. My family is Berthiaume (John and Angeline). Their children were born in Flambeau before 1900 when John died. The daughter Florence (Berthiaume) Johnson had four children. One of the daughters, Christine, married a Lyle LaRonge. They lived in the Chippewa Falls area.
