David G. Zeinert
David G. Zeinert, age 72, Bowler, town of Almon, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at his home.
He was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Whitcomb, Wis., the son of the late William and Frieda (Wegener) Zeinert. David was a United States Army Veteran. David was a pipefitter and a member of the United Asbestos Workers Union. He was also a member of the American Legion, Bowler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include: special friend Shirley Slater; five children, Susan (Tim) Glodoski, Mosinee, Donald (Carla) Zeinert, Sally (fianc/ Ken) Landwehr, all of Mattoon, Jeffrey (Shelly) Zeinert, Bowler and Joel (Amy) Zeinert, Columbus; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Vivian (Harvard) Erdman, Judith (Albert) Falstad and Mary Neumeier; and one brother, Dennis (Janie) Zeinert. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by: an infant son, David; one sister, Joan; and three brothers, Donald, Michael and Charlie.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Online condolences available at www.schmidtschulta.com
