Johnny Lindquist natural parents died in Peoria, Illinois.
PEORIA - Irene Mary Lindquist, 60, of Peoria passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at 9:42 p.m. at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Irene was born Feb. 3, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., to William and Hailey Sinnott. She married Jimmy Lindquist in Peoria. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Angelina Maria Lindquist of Peoria and Jane Ann Lindquist and Julia Lindquist, both of Chicago; and two sons, Jimmy Lindquist Jr. and Joseph Lindquist, both of Chicago. Also surviving are two grandsons, James and Tristian Lindquist, both of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Johnny Lindquist.
Irene worked as a waitress for more than 25 years at area restaurants including Newells in East Peoria for many years and last working at Louie's Family Restaurant.
She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, with visitation today, Feb. 2, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Father Tom Hensler will officiate. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery in West Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Lindquist Memorial Fund, established at the Heritage Bank in Peoria located on Harman Highway.
