Holewinski, Adolph

Adolph Holewinski, 84, Pulaski died peacefully at home Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, with his family at his side. The son of the late Walter and Anna (Wozniak) Holewinski was born March 22, 1919, in the town of Maple Grove. On July 3, 1940, he married the former Regina Surma in Hofa Park. The couple farmed in the town of Maple Grove until their retirement, at which time they moved to Pulaski. He had been a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Stanislaus Church, Hofa Park. He volunteered as a driver for the Pulaski Senior Center. He enjoyed dancing and also doing yard work around his home.

In addition to his wife, Regina he is further survived by three sons and one daughter, Clarence (Diane) Holewinski, Green Bay; Gerald (Kathy) Holewinski, Pulaski; Ronald (Roseanne) Holewinski, Arizona; Jayne (Paul) Krempleski, Green Bay; 11 grandchildren, Laura, Debbie and Cherri, Tina, Matthew and Clint, Julie and Scott, Kay, Karri and Todd; six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Loryn, Bryce, Lily and Tyler; one brother, Joseph (Delores) Holewinski; four sisters, Lucy Majewski, Pulaski; Agnes Baranczyk, Green Bay; Theresa (Earl) Bosar, Green Bay; Emily Counard, Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by one infant grandson, Kevin Holewinski; two sisters, Sophie Kasper and Marge Jarosinski; one stepsister, Helen Majewski.

Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski after 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. presiding, and his godson Deacon Dennis Majewski assisting. Entombment in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.

The family would like to thank all of Adolph’s physicians, especially Dr. Kevin Sandmire, nurse, Nancy and Unity Hospice, especially Linda and Judy.

Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, is assisting the family.
