"I have a Doege from Milwaukee that is my Grandfather's Grandmother. His surname is LAUDON. He has told me that there were also DOEGE's in Sheboygan or Manitowoc areas. Any idea if there is a connection here?"

In case it's helpful to your research, there are about 25 Laudon and over 100 Doege entries or references found in a newer local resource: "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). Indexing continues in 2014.
Some surnames connected with Laudon and Doege in the index are Schoenke Wege Riebe Achtenhagen Kiekbusch Schwantes Reinke Berg Friske Prust Wage Rusch Siegesmund Stemwell Uecker Benduhn Kannenberg Schmidt Wenzel Baumgardt.
I don't find any spellings "Döge".
