I am attempting to get info regarding my great-grandfather. His name was James, last name either Handy, Hanby, Handby. According to 100 year old letters someone said he died in New Richmond about 1907. His first wife died shortly after giving birth to their first child in 1887, this baby was adopted. His wife's name was Francis (Franc) Simons. After her death apparently he re-married a woman with 3 children, her last name was McDonald and she operated a saloon between Chippewa Falls and Cadott. Any info, death record or obit would be much appreciated. Thank you.
