Paul E. Bibeau died at home on June 13 in Battle Ground, Wash.
He was born to Irenee and Florence Bibeau in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada on Feb. 13, 1926. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith at Immaculate Conception in Sherbrooke.
Paul attended school in Canada and Newport, Vt. He moved to Los Angeles, Cal. in 1947 and was united in marriage to Francis Pizza in 1949.
He owned and operated his own business in Los Angeles and Eureka, Mont. In 1973 he married Sherry Krawchuk. They owned and operated a candy business in Bend, Ore. After retirement Paul and Sherry moved to Somerset. He worked at Stillwater Motors and drove bus for the Stillwater School District.
Paul is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Duane Fagnan) Smith of Wolf Creek, Mont., and Leslie (Mark) DeFrees of Battle Ground, Wash.; son Bill (Amy) Bibeau, Bend, Ore.; grandchildren Abbey and Carrie Smith, Erica Bibeau, and Colby and Courtney DeFrees; sister Louise Milbrandt, Portland, Ore.; brother Guy (Naomi) Bibeau, and nephew Scott (Kris) Bibeau of Star Prairie; aunts Albertine Trudel, Glendale, Cal. and Yvonne Lebel, Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Canada, and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held June 17 at Layne's Funeral Chapel in Battle Ground, Wash. with Pastor Eric Smith officiating.
