Surnames: Gomolka, Gomoke
My great-grandfather Albert "George" Gomolka came to Trempealeau Co. and settled in Arcadia, WI in 1889. My great-grandmother's name was Anna. I am searching for Anna's maiden name. They married in Tuchow, Poland in 1869. Then with their 3 children, Mary, John and Katherine came to America in 1877 and settled in Hillsgrove, PA. part of Sullivan Co. in Pennsylvania. They had at least 5 more children, James, Charles, Anna, Stella, and Clema. All children moved with them into Wisconsin in 1889. They had 4 more children Julia, Joseph and Elizabeth and Paulina. In Wisconsin the Gomolka surname was changed to Gomoke. I would like to get in contact with anyone who had relatives who came from the Tuchow, Poland area about the 1877 time frame and settled in the Trempealeau Co. Area. Thanks!
