Dora was a name used by the Gorslines in the 1800's.

I also have ran searches on the net for Gorsline, and have previously seen the name Southwick associated with it, but I don't have any specific information on the connection.

That marriage record sounds like a good lead. Do you live in Verono Co, or have anyone who could look that up for you?

Let me know what you find out, as if he is connected I am sure I have lots of information that you could use. I also am interested to know if they are connected.

Does the Vernon County site have any volunteers that could look up the marriage record? Many times those will give parents names, and you may be able to verify if it is the correct people.
