The cover of the book is actually very plain. It is red hardcover. On the front about 3" down from the top is says "WEST-BARKER-HODGES" in large type which is centered. Then there is about a half inch of space between that line and the next. The next line has "NEW YORK TO WISCONSIN". Another half inch of space and then "1836-1846" in medium type. About 6" up from the bottom of the front cover it says "Compiled by" in small text. Then there is a small space between this line and the next line says "BEATRICE WEST SIETZ" which again is in small type. The spine has "WEST-BARKER-HODGES New York to Wisconsin 1836-1846" all in large type. The type is all gold colored. The back cover blank. This site is constantly giving me 500# errors when I try to post images so are going to have to do this via email or by one of my websites where I have not had problems uploading images.
