I will look at the Register of Deeds office in Shell Lake and see if I can find a birth date for Jerome, it may help in searching for him. Betty does not appear to be buried with Darwin, so I am wondering if she married again after his death. I will look for that as well but I won't be able to look for this until the end of Sept.
