In case it's of interest to your research, in 1886 a John P. & Anna S. Foeckler published death notices for their son Egidius F. J. Foeckler, 21 months old. They included hymn or poetry verses with the notice. There were multiple death notices for Annie S. Pfister Foeckler (49 yrs.) in 1914. These are the only Foeckler entries in the current index.
I case there's a conection there is a request in 1876 published by the German Consulate in New York to locate a John F. & Mrs. Föckler, referencing the name Mühlbaum; and tracing them through London & Falls City, NE.

"Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950).
