Today my husband and I were running errands, when we drove past the local antique mall. They were having a flea market so we decided to stop. He knows I like to find old photographs with names and track down the families, so he told me of a vendor he found that had old photographs.
While looking through them, I found an invitation to a 50th wedding anniversary
"1882 - 1932
Mr and Mrs Henry C Westphal request the honor of your company at a reception in honor of the Fiftieth Anniversary of their marriage Wednesday evening, September the twenty-first at half after seven o'clock
I thought "well, it's not a photo, but it is a piece of family history" so I set it aside to purchase.
I continued looking through the box, and found a photograph of a group of people. On the back was written
"Jackson Sep 21th
1882 - 1932"
with two people who appear to be the guests of honor.
I would like to return these to the family; please contact me or reply if interested.
