Lenore -- Did Christine die as early as the 1870s? I've indexed death notices for a Mrs. Wasserburger, survived by Heinrich in 1872.
- A Heinrich Wasserburger published lost livestock notices in 1862 & 1865 - living "near St. Johannes cemetery" and then living "3m. north of St. John cemetery". I'm assuming this refers to the southern tip of what became Union Cem. or is there another St. John Cem. in northern Milwaukee Co.?
- A Joh. Wasserburger received letters postmarked from Bacharach in 1861. (Rick Steves' reruns just featured Bacharach ;-)
- A Henry J. Wasserburger had multiple death notices published in 1913.
That covers it for my Wasserburger entries found in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950).
