Thanks for your reply. I am really curious. I found this letter among my fathers papers after he had passed away. In the letter she refers to him as "Dear Son Al" and asks him to come visit and the letter is sign "Love from Mom". I know she is not my grandmother so I am just really puzzled. There is also a photo signed "Best Wishes Al, Goldie" on the back of the picture it says "Centry Fence Co." Any insight on you end would be appreciated. My fathers name was Albert (Albie) Orchino and he was from Sag Harbor, NY on eastern Long Island. He was a flight engineer on B-17s in Chevelston England in WWII until he was shot down in April 1944, then he was a POW until the end of the war.
