Rebecca McClary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McClary, was born July 12, 1833, in New York, where she grew to a young lady and in 1854 was married to Ira Dimick. They came to Wisconsin in 1855. He was killed in the battle of Corinth, Miss., in 1862. To them was born one son, Menzo J. Dimick, now of Birnamwood, WI.
In 1884 Mrs. Dimick became the wife of Jerome Barnett of South Burr Oak, and they moved to their home in Coloma Corners, where she died April 9, 1915...Her remains were laid to rest in the Corners cemetery, the service being conducted from the Cong. church by Rev. Mr. Cook. Left to mourn her loss are a loving husband, an aged brother, a son and numerous other relatives and a host of friends...
