I noticed that you had ancestors by the name of Schipferling. My grandfather's name was Irvin Albert Schipferling, but when he was adopted, he became a Brinkman. I've always wondered what nationality Schipferling was - what part of the world did the Schipferlings come from? Were they Jewish? Does the name mean anything? Are there many Schipferlings? (I've never met one.)
