Mrs. Rose Lockbaum, a resident of "Winnebago county for nearly three quarters of a century, passed away at her home on Second street on Monday, after an illness of only two days.
Deceased was born in Germany, Oct. 3, 1837, and came to America when 10 years of age. She resided on a farm m the town of Menasha forty-three years, moving to this city, sixteen years ago.
Surviving are two sons and eight daughters, as follows- Jacob Lockbaum of Thorpe, Wis, George Lockbaum, Mrs. Joseph Sauter and the Misses Birdie and Osa Lockbaum of this city, Miss Elizabeth Lockbaum and Mrs. E. V. Warren of Chicago, Mrs. Nicholas Fuite of Evanston. ILL, and Mrs. O. J. Eisnach of International Falls, Minn., one brother, F. J. Meyer of Neenah, and two sisters, Mrs. ?. Merkle and Mrs. Matt Kramp, both of Milwaukee. The funeral will be held from St. Mary's church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock.
