Can anyone else help??? I found Robert Mason Brooks - but no death - or burial - can someone check the cemetery records. I did try Armenia, JuneauCoWI - only infants...

Hello ; I need some help: I need to locate any imfo on the following person's.

Caleb Brooks b abt 1800 - Don't know where he was born or died. Wasn't found in Ohio unless missed. Who was he married to and where did he marry?? It was said Calev was a Justice of Peace in St Albans TWP, Licking Co OH. Being a J P ,Thus he may have been the one who had married many people there)

Who were his parents etc. he is suppose to be on 1830 and maybe 1790 census and other Brooks as well. Possibly in St Albans TWP, OH. He was married by or before 1820 when a son was born; were there other children as well?

Son; Elmer Alvin (on Mar cert. )or Alvin Elmer Brooks ( used in Iowa) b 1820 Maybe St Abans Twp, OH? m1 14 Oct 1841 Hanna ( Hannah ) Armstrong b 1822 d unk. (OH or Clayton Co IA)? m2 Anna Spores in Clayton Co IA? Who were Hannah's Parents? She was not found as buried in Fayette Co., IA so must have died in Clayton Co IA.

They had the following KNOWN children in Licking Co. OH

2 Robert Elmer Brooks b 31 Mar 1856 in Licking Co OH d 9 Feb 1930 in Hawkeye, Fayette Co. IA m 27 Oct 1876 in Elkader, Clayton Co IA, to Martha Elizabeth Kelsy b 1 May 1861 in Guttenberg, Clayton Co OH d 10 Jul 1932 in Auburn TWP, Fayette Co IA. They had 9 sons and 1 dau , 10 in all born in Clayton Co IA. The Dau was Pearl Brooks and mar to Alvin Severin and lived in Charles City IA.

3 Thomas Mason b 17 Mar 1858 in Licking Co Ohio died 28 Nov 1926 in Nekoosa, Wood Co. WI m 3 Jun 1880 to Rebecca Adelia Bonney in Elkport, Clayton Co IA. She b 20 Oct 1864 in Hazel Green, LaFayette, WI d 4 May 1947 in Saratoga, Wood Co WI

There could have been more children who may have died in Licking Co Ohio between Sarah b 1847 and Robert Elmer b 1856, due to the span of 1847 to 1856 with no children listed. They may have gone to Iowa by 1860 but were there by 1885. as Robert was married there.
