I am still researching my Father's side of the family.
My grandmother was Clara Hunt, Her parents were Wesley M. Hunt and Mary Etta Beardsley. Her Mother died when she was very young.
She was raised by her Uncle Grant Beardsley and his wife Margaret Hamm Beardsley. I know Clara was a teacher in 1912 and 1913 City Directory for Grand Rapids.
I would like to know if any one knows where she might have taught , and what she taught. As a child, I can remember her going back to Wisconsin for a 50th class reunion of teachers.
Also as a child I can remember going to Walpaca, Wis. to visit a family of Beardsley's name Dan & Ruth.
My grandmother Clara Hunt married Samuel Gross in 1914 Dawson S. D.. Samuel was born in Cook Co. Illinois.
I can't find nothing on his line. There were a lot og Gross's in Wood Co.
