Early maps of Milwaukee County will show you where the 36 sq. miles of former Granville Township were located within the county boundaries - now City of Milwaukee boundaries.
You'll also find references to Granville Center, West Granville, in various places: written histories, etc. These were unincorporated cross-roads, railroad stops or U. S. Post Office locations with Granville Township. Early property owners are shown in the 1876 Milwaukee County Atlas page of Granville. An original of the atlas is at the local public library, and scanned images may be found at their website: mpl.org (possibly only with card access). The Milwaukee County Historical Society Library has originals or copies early maps; possibly the digital collection of UW-Milwaukee Library http://collections.lib.uwm.edu/cdm/
