A small addition to the Odenbrett family from Germany:
Johann Odenbrett (* 1807) was an field worker by profession. He was from the village of "Vussem".
His wife Anna Catharina nee Müller (* 1809) was from the village of "Bleibuir". These two little villages
are today a part of the city of "Mechernich" in the "Eifel"- area in the west of Germany. The married couple was emigrated with her son Philipp (* 1833)in the year 1844 to Wisconsin. But they still had got another woman with it: Maria Anna Müller;(* 1813): probably a sister of the Anna Catharina Odenbrett.
The family presumably emigrated of the portof Antwerp in Belgium; because since 1843 there was a direct train connection from Cologne via Düren to the port of Antwerp. Running-time: 10 hours.
