Hi Nadine!
Thank you for responding to my query.

I have checked my family treemaker information, but don't have any information on your line. I'm sure our families must be related, though.

My Great Great Grandfather was also Benjamin Warren Viles,
1831-1908. Benjamin married Emily Rock. Emily and Benjamin had eight children. My Great Grandfather was their son, Warren Sylvester Viles, 1860-1917. Warren married Catherine Elizabeth McKinley.

It is definitely a coincidence that we have the same names.

Benjamin left Maine at age 18 in 1849 and is found in Sugar Creek, Wisconsin in 1855. From there he headed to Minnesota (Osakis) and then finally ended up in Prosser, Washington.

Do you know who your Benjamin's parents were? The parents of my Benjamin were Alfred, 1797-1881 and Thankful Norton.

I'd be glad to send you a tree of my direct line if you would like.

Pam
