I was in the middle of trying to find what I could find about Teofil Labecki when I came across your message. There are just a couple of things I wanted to mention.

For whatever reason, Teofil was known as Frank in the 1895 Wisconsin Census (Franc Labenski on Also, the Polish Union Cemetery is now known as St. Adalbert Cemetery. It's most likely his funeral took place at either St. Josephat's or at St. Stanislaus - it's possible the church's record has some information concerning his parents or hometown. The Milwaukee Archdiocese could help you there; I know the church records were filmed by the LDS church. His wife was Josephine Sikora - the older sister of my Great Grandmother. Teofil and Josephine were married in Poland about 1880 and came to the US very shortly after. I've not found their passenger list. I hope some of this information is helpful to you.
