Another researcher has a picture of the L. H. Pierce General Merchandise store with a horse tied to the
hitching post and an older couple, and also a younger gentleman standing outside the front door. Street is dirt. There are some old barrels, maybe a hand cultivator for garden use, and some other things along side the store.
Is anyone familiar with the history of the store or the photo company?
I believe the store owner was Lewis Pierce and his wife at the time was Dolly (Haynes).
