I am interested in Rock Spring, Wyoming about 1880. My husband's Great Grandparents were married there in 1887. They were both from Scotland. They later moved to Montana where he was a miner. I am curious to why they would be in Rock Springs. Was Rock Springs a mining community and also did if have a large Scotch and Irish population at this time?
