I'm looking for my great uncle, born Owen Tully, c 1857, Cornacartha, South of Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo. Moved to England, c 1873, participated in Boar War (British Military), and emigrated to Australia,in early 1900's. His parents were Patrick and Margaret (Grogan) Tully. His siblings were Catherine, Michael, Patrick, Ellen, and Austin (all of whom later emigrated to the U.S.). Owen may have changed his name to John Oliver or John Owen Tully. He may have married Phoebe while still in England. I would love to find any relation of (John)Owen Tully (Oliver?). Thank you!
