Classification: Query
Surnames: Matuschka Matuska Matuschke
There are some similar surnames listed under "South Australian People", here:
http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=SHOW&...

Some may be a branch from the Matuschka family but spelled as "Matuska", "Matuschke" etc.
There is an amazing mix of German, Polish, Austrian, Hungarian, Czech & Croatian families in South Australia. There are also people who have changed their names from "foreign" sounding names to very ordinary common names, such as "Ephraitt" to "Clark"! There was a lot of this around the World Wars for obvious reasons because the "foreign" names attracted detention in camps for the duration of the war, just as with the Japanese in Canada. Bad times.
Hope you have found some good clues!
