I've lost Victor Alexander Ward, Warr or Whalen

Hello

I'm in need of a genealogical super sleuth. I seem to have lost my Grand Uncle Victor.

I have his 1903 Qld birth cert where he is registered as Victor Alexander Whalen (mothers maiden name). I also have his 1910 Qld State school enrollment at Junction Park State school where he is enrolled as Victor Ward.
I then have him in the Qld state Electoral Rolls as Victor Alexander Ward in 1925, 1926 & 1928 where he was working as a farm labourer at Alexander McPherson Arnold's residence at Glenfern, Kilcoy. Then he disappears.

I have tried all manner of search procedures not just here on Ancestry but in many other places & I have searched Australia wide & I still can't find anything.

Any help would be appreciated :)

P.S: Warr is my families original surname. It was changed to Ward sometime between 1873 & 1895 for reasons that are unclear. Victor (& my Granddad Ernie) were registered under the surname Whalen due to the fact that their parents Thomas Warr or Ward & Mary Ann Whalen were not married at the time of their births in 1902 & 1903.
