I am looking for the decendents of Thomas(1) and Bridget (nee Sherry) McKenna who arrived in Australia the 7th June 1852 at Port Adelaide, S.A aboard the ship "Phoebe Dunbar". Thomas Was born Coy. Monaghan, Ireland, c1807 d. 30/6/1874 at Ballaarat, VIC. His parents were John and Mary (nee) McGuire. Bridget was Born Coy. Tyrone, Ireland, c1815 d. 9/10/1887, Ballaarat, Vic. Her parents were Arthur and Mary (nee McKenna) Sherry. Thom & Bridt. were in Eureka, Victoria in 1854 when their daughter Rose Ann was born.
Their death certs. list the following children: Mary,
John(2), Catherine, Bridget, Eliza, Joseph, Joseph (again), Thomas(2), Rose Ann and James.
John(2) is my Great-great grandfather. He walked from Victoria to Gulgong, NSW where he married Susan Harriet Peters on the 1/3/1875. Thier eldest son Thomas(3) b.29/3/1875 d. 18/5/1964 is my great grandfather. He married Annie Elizabeth (nee Bratby) c1900.
Thomas(2)b.c1845 married Mary Ann (nee Griffin) c1880 at Ballaarat. Their children were: Thomas Henry b1883, William Griffin b1885, George b1886, Mary Josephine b1888.
