Surnames: Eastwood, Flynn, Owens
Please help....
John Eastwood bn 1839 in Burnley, England, married Bridget Flynn in 1858 Eurnley and had 2 children - Thomas 1860 and Mary 1862. Bridget and the children came to New Zealand in 1863. Don't know when or if John came to NZ. In c1867 John had the children, saying Mother Bridget deserted them in NZ(He was in Newcastle, Australia). He advertised in 1868 papers with intent to remarry. Don't know if this happened? In 1869 he put the two children into the Benevolent Asylm and Randwick Asylm for Destitute Children. The two children left the Asylm in 1878. Don't know where they went.
Mary appears back in NZ, getting married in 1886 to Hugh Owens. but I have lost the father, mother (still in NZ?) and Thomas Patrick the son.
Thanking you in advance.
