I am another descendant of 'City of Brisbane' passengers. Unfortunately for me, my ancestors seemed to be amongst the worst of the offenders on the voyage! However, it was a long time ago and I have decided not to get too hung up on all the unpleasant things they did!
Actually, my sister and I have recently published a book about our family history. It includes a couple of chapters about the 'City of Brisbane' voyage. I guess we needed to come to terms with the things in our ancestry which weren't perfect.
