Margaret WAS the proprietress of the Clifton Boarding House (which was in Sheridan Street) as she gave evidence into a hearing regarding a fire that occurred there in July 1929. However, it seeems she may have only been running it for a ouple of years as there was an 'under new management' advert in 1927.

It was auctioned off later in 1929.
