Thankyou I looked at Lucy Giles as being Albert's mother years ago but dismissed it but I think I may have bee too quick at dismissing it. I can vaguely remember my grandma (Douglas Adelaide Giles) saying something about her grandfather being in Morpettvale and being friendly with the aborigines there and I have heard mentioned somewhere the name George Giles mentioned as her grandfather but that was many years ago and my memory might be wrong, I think it was my mum (Douglas Adelaide's daughter) saying it just before she died, any way thankyou I will follow up this lead and I think the names of his daughter and that of the daughter of Lucy jane may be a hint.
