All the trees show, that Mary IFOULD died in 1849, so, did she leave an orphan, (Jane/Ellen) that was reared by the grandparents?

Just a thought.

According to Ellen WILSON's death (cemetery record) she was 48 yo, on 31.12.1898, at the time of death.

Maybe, she was known by the name of Ellen, (rather than Jane) so as not to confuse her, with the aunt (Jane IFOULD).
