I am related to the Alicia Sproule you mention. She moved to Nelson Bay where I was born and lived next to her brother Joseph Gilbert Sproule who was my grandfather. I am not sure when Alice moved to nelson bay but my grandfather moved there about 1915. She did have a shop in Sydney with her sister Mary Belinda for a while, I have a photo of them both standing outside the shop.
