I'm relooking at the RAYSON/DAVIES connection with regard to two deaths their dates now sourced from cemetery records and/or newspaper adv. I'm also including their parents' names which hopefully will assist you while searching.

DEATH: (Might be under the spelling of “DAVIS” as cemetery entry was under DAVIS not DAVIES)
DAVIES, John Arthur d.11 Jan 1974 late of Heidelberg & Ivanhoe (The Ryerson Index - Search for Notices / Death notice)
Parents' names: Father: Richard Hugh DAVIES / Mother: Dora nee OWEN

DEATH - Source = FAWKNER CEMETERY:
Surname DAVIES
Given Names ELSIE VIOLET MYRTLE
Date Of Birth 27 Jul 1906 / Date Of Death 27 Feb 2000 / Age 93
Parents' names: Father - Stanley RAYSON / Mother: Possibly = Marie Matilda aka Annie STARK/STARCK? (this gets a little tricky as mother's name on Elsie's Sth Aust birth cert had incorrect surname - I also have Elsie's birthdate as 26 July 1906)
