Found this:
The Haddington Courier dated 27th May, 1892 - death notice . "At Cawnpore, India, on the lst inst., JESSIE MARGARET HEPBURN or LANDELLS, wife of EDWARD TUMBER, of Cawnpore Cotton Mills, and fourth daughter of the late James Hepburn, factor, Preston Mains, Prestonkirk."

I now see you also found the above!

So...this will surely amaze you:

groom's name: Edward Samuel Dunn Tumber
groom's birth date: 1858
groom's age: 32
bride's name: Jessie Margaret Landell Hepburn
bride's birth date: 1852
bride's age: 38
marriage date: 14 Oct 1890
marriage place: Bombay, Bombay, India
groom's father's name: George Tumber
bride's father's name: James Hepburn

Jessie's death also appeared in:

Deaths as reported in 'Domestic Occurrences' in the Times of India 1892 Editions

This took a bit longer:-))

In 1871, the above family had 2 more sons - Robert Whitelaw LANDELLS b 1854 and Alexander b 1857...so I started looking and there is a tree on Ancestry which says:

Robert Whitelaw LANDELLS ( his brother married a 'WAITE" )
1878 5 Dec
Age: 25
Marriage to Jessie Margaret HEPBURN
Prestonkirk, Haddington, Scotland
It also says Robert died abt/aft 1881 ..maybe he went to India and Jessie went out to visit, sent the son home when she met Edward TUMBER....

the son Alexander is back in Prestonkirk with Benjamin HEPBURN and Grandma Sybella etc in 1891

and then tragedy. Unbelievable:
