Broadening search parameters (for example, selecting "Australia" rather than "Victoria, Australia") still returns the same results except they're mixed in with the records of every other state.

I provided specific names where there is clearly decades of missing data:

• Lawson 1590 records; only 5 after 1930
• Lewis 5280 records; only 9 after 1930
• Martin 9382 records; only 7 after 1930
• McDonald 10959 records; only 8 after 1930
• Mitchell 6448 records; only 12 after 1930
• Miller 7036 records; only 3 between 1930 and 1980

The generic response about privacy issues doesn't cut it because you can search for surnames starting with any other letter of the alphabet and there's no problem.
