Thanks for that. I may never know if she had been in that family and been disowned for marrying a gentile. I came across a couple of certificates for another branch of my jewish part of the family that had written 'no issue' to disown and/or disinherit siblings or children for other reasons.
I found the family on ancestry and there was a gap in between 2 of the children that could well have had a child born in there. Other still borns were listed so it's hard to say.
I might have to hire a professional genealogist to work this one out. Regards, Adele
