Hi Deanne,

I don't have access to the cds of the bdm indexes which might help more, but I did find:

At Geelong Western cemetery, I think in the same grave as Walter Frederick Kent is a Lena Mabel Kent, buried 26 Jan 1937

in the Victorian Government Gazette for the 25th March 1925:
Attendant, Inebriates' Institution, Lara
Walter Frederick Kent
to be an Attendant, General Division, Inebriats Institution, Lara, a vacancy having occured, and the Public Service Commissioner having certified that an appointment is required, that there is no person available and fit in the Public Service to be promoted or transferred to fill the vacant office, and that the person named is entitled, under
the provisions of the Public Service Act 1915 to be appointed to fill such vacancy for 6 months.
