Robert arrived in NZ in 1906 aboard the "Essex". Married Hilda Irene Sayer in 1912. Had 2 daughters Sybil and Pearl. Enlisted in the army in 1917. Was believed to have been separated from Hilda before enlisting.he did not return from the war until 1919. He was recorded as living in Melbourne Australia in 1931. Married a woman named Rose. He died in 1956 and is buried in Melbourne.
I think I a may be the only one to have had the privilege of visiting his unmarked grave where he is shares it with another gentleman .
