Yes you are correct the Wolfran in Kent 1851 Census is a sargeant in the army, single,the year before he marries Rosina Elizabeth Haselden in Canterbury Reg.1852.They then travel to New Zealand. My interest is chiefly Rosina Haselden, she was the daughter of William and Lucy(nee Thompson)Haselden. Lucy was the sister of my 3X great grandfather Thomas Thompson. Interestingly Lucy had another daughter Louisa Haselden who was staying with the widowed Thomas Thompson in 1851 I presume to help care for the four children. I have wondered if Louisa Haselden also follows her sister to New Zealand because we never see her again in census' nor do we see any marriage or death that fits. Thank you again Pam
