I live in Australia and am trying to research my family. Not havng a lot of luck so far I had a brother, father and grandfather all named Frederick Harold Batten. All deceased since about 1995, my father and grandfather in Auckland and brother in Whangarei last year. My grandfather was the father of Jean Batten the famous aviatrix of the 1930's. They lived in Rotorua in the early 1900's where Jean and her brother John were born and I'm not sure where my father was born.
