Hi Jenny, I was wondering if u could help me Im trying to find info of my Maternal Grandmother Eleanor Amy Bezer born 1896 Rotherhithe, she married Thomas william Reed born around 1894 Bermondsey they married 1918. They arrived in NZ early 1920 with my mother Ellen Elizabeth.She left her husband not long after,taking my mother,on my mothers 5th birthday she placed her in Nazareth House,not contacting my mother until she was 18/21 I was brought up to believe my grandparents were dead.My mothers father contacted her from the uk when she was 60. She didnt know whether they divorced or not, but her father suspected she left with her cousin whos surname could be Ash. My mother knows she has three half brothers,younger than her she is 90,and has only opened up about her parents in the last twenty years.So there are relatives out there somewhere.Not knowing what surname my Grandmother went under Im at a standstill.I live in Aust and come over once a year, but usually my time is filled up with my Mother.
