James MOLLISON (Abt 1820 Kincardine, Scotland - d.??) married Elizabeth LYALL (chr. 26 Jul 1817 Laurencekirk, Kincardine, Scotland - d. 18 Feb 1853 Montrose, Angus, Scotland) on the 15 May 1842 Laurencekirk, Kincardine. Known children are: Jessie (b. 17 Jun 1843); Alexander (b. 9 Nov 1844); Benjamin (b. 18 Dec 1846) all Fettercairn, Kincardine as well as Jane (b. 16 Jul 1849) and James (b. 5 Mar 1852) both Montrose, Angus.

James MOLLISON, a shoemaker, apparently emigrated to New Zealand (after Elizabeth's death in 1853?) and was still there in 1867. Did he die there? Did any of his children accompany him? Any connections down under?
