Thanks for your reply about the Whelch family. I did not realise the size of the Price family. Can I ask what part of England or Parish was Elizabeth and Hannah were born in?
I have been on the Paperspast website and read with interest George's wishes (Akaroa Mail... - 22 May 1885). It helped me tie in my Jane Whelch as a definite sister. I would love to find a birth record for her, but I think it could be just before or on the "London" during the passage over.
Would it be at all possible to obtain an electronic copy of Elizabeth Delahay Whelch nee Price's Death cert if you have one. I have a copy of Henry Alexander Whelch's Death cert if required.
